ArguMate is a fun app that lets two people submit their sides of an argument and get an AI "verdict." We keep data collection to the bare minimum needed to make that work. This policy explains what we handle and why.

What we collect

• The arguments you submit. The text (or voice-to-text) of each side, plus any names you choose to type in. You control what you enter, so please don't include sensitive personal information.
• An anonymous device ID. A random identifier generated on your device so we can show you your own cases and history. It is not linked to your real identity, your name, your email, or any account. We do not ask you to create an account.

What we do NOT collect

• No names, emails, phone numbers, or logins are required to use the app.
• No location data.
• No advertising identifiers, and we do not sell any data.
• No payment information is collected by the app.

How your arguments are processed

To generate a verdict, the text of the argument is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (the makers of Claude), which processes it to produce the response and does not use it to train their models. We store the argument and its verdict so the app can display your history. You can stop using the app at any time.

Data retention & deletion

Cases are stored so the app can show them back to you. If you would like your data deleted, email us at the address below and we'll remove it.

ArguMate is intended for users aged 13 and over.
